Christ Church College Colloquium

(for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral students)

The Colloquium is an inter-faith student group that gathers three Sundays a month for a home cooked lunch after the 11:00 a.m. service (@12:30 pm - 1:30 pm) and discussions on faith and theology. We maintain an intellectually vibrant and open environment.

Topics have included:"Jewish Mysticism," "The Dead Sea Scrolls," "Questions About Good and Evil," "Liturgy and the  Episcopal Church," and "Social Justice: What do the World's Religions Teach?"

Topics are chosen by the students. Discussions are led by the students, the Rector, or parishioners with knowledge of the topic.

On fourth Sundays, the Colloquium meets for dinner and social time at the Rector's home. We also enjoy overnight retreats, hiking and camping in the nearby Finger Lakes and glens, and other recreational outings.

Stay tuned for our Fall Colloquium Calendar, and feel free to stop by some Sunday for lunch.
